Welcome to the Hebburn Community Website!

Hi,

My name's Paul Dack, Jarra lad born and breed and in September 2000 I moved to South Wales (married a Welsh girl). In June 2009, I decided to launch JarrowLife as a way of keeping in touch with what's happening in and around Jarrow.

The site is proving to be very popular and in response to suggestions from friends, I've launched this sister site for Hebburn.

Anyone can access the site but to create a thread\post or upload a photo, you'll need to register as a user (requires valid email address). You'll then receive an email containing a confirmation link that you'll need to click to activate your account.

I hope you find this site useful and informative and more importantly, that it goes some way into helping build a real community spirit in the Hebburn area.

	Hebburn Postcards and Town Views Every Family used to have large Biscuit Tin Boxes, that they would keep, photos, letters, postcards and Birth/Wedding Certs inside. My Grandmother kept allsorts in hers even found an old Ration Book...Check out your Loft and see if you have any old photos of the town. As one of my elderly Relatives say, every photo tells a story. All photographs that I have used on this site have been given by Family/Friends. Many of the photos have been loaned and used in Exhibitions/Displays over the years.
